Stay with Purpose

At Cielo y Tierra, your stay is about more than experiencing the beauty of Ometepe. Every night you book helps support families in need through our local community projects. If you'd like to get even more involved, you're welcome to join one of our outreach activities. Come not only as a visitor, but as someone who leaves a positive impact on this beautiful island.

Your booking helps the local community

We use a portion of every booking to support projects in the local community. Book through another platform, and 10% goes toward these projects. Book directly with us and we donate 20%, at no extra cost to you. The price stays the same, but your impact is greater.

"But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."

1 John 3:17-18

Community Projects

We take the time to understand the needs of local families and see where our help can make the biggest difference. Every situation is different, but our support focuses on a few key areas, from meeting basic needs and improving living conditions to supporting education and sharing God's love. Together, we hope to bring more hope and opportunities to local families, one step at a time.

Healthcare

Hospital care is free, but everything around that like medicine, transport, medical devices are paid. We help the people in these needs.

Free Bibles

Some people don't have a Bible because they can't afford it, so we'll hand out Bibles so they always have the Word of God to read.

Food packages

We regularly organize to go out with a group to hand out food packages, together with evangelising and praying for the people.

Living

We help poor families improving their living situation. For example with building a bathroom or changing walls of plastic.

School supplies

We support children with school supplies, learning materials and other things that the school needs, like we sponsored a water tank.

Community

Every week we organise a dinner to share the word of God, and we want to set up a project to reach the woman of the community.

Be part of something bigger

Would you like to do more than just visit? You can stay a little longer at Cielo y Tierra and join us in one of our community outreaches. It's an opportunity to meet local families, learn about their needs, and offer a helping hand where it's needed most. Together, we can make a positive difference through practical support, meaningful connections, and time spent with the local community.

Let's make a difference together!
